I love this wine. I believe Ricardo released a 1996 version. I hope to find some when I go to Portugal this June.

Yeah, I think Blandy miscalculated the release price of this marvelous drink, and it got sold much faster than anticipated. I think I was lucky to get the last 6 bottles in the UK (according to the wine searcher :)). Fareham said they don't have it anymore and neither is the Blandys’ UK Agent. It's still in Portugal but the price is more than double.

Picked up the following at a NH State Liquor store while visiting for the weekend.

Borges 10yo Old Reserve Malmsey
Miles 15yo medium rich Tinta Negra

The Miles 15 is pleasant but unremarkable. Is that the house style?

My limited exposure to Borges - with a couple exceptions I’ve found them OK but a poor value. This 10yo was marked down from $46.99 to 26.49 and is very enjoyable at that price. Far better than the Miles 15.

1977 D'Oliveiras Terrantez. Bottled 2011. The best showing yet of this wine for me.

Nice. A softer style without the scintillating acidity but great complexity. Mine have old IVM selos, probably 30-40 years in bottle. I'm thinking newer bottled ones may have a bit more acidity.

Another 1934 Justinos Verdelho. This is just too easy to drink.
