Ferreira Duque de Braganca 20 Year Old Tawny Port

Orange-tawny colour. Aromas of walnut, cinnamon and light cocoa. On tasting, there were notes of pecans, vanilla, and raisins. The body was relatively light and it had a nice long finish. A very nice tawny, highly recommended. Bottled in 2011. 94 points

My #2 20 y/o Tawny - love this stuff - don't see it enough in restaurants or store shelves out here though.

Just bought another two cases of this. One for home; one for the Gang of Port. Kenny (the wine guy at Paesanos, who is moving to NYC in September) beat up the local distributor for a per-bottle price significantly below their normal one. I sure hope the new wine guy will be able to do as well.
BTW, any FTLOPers in the NYC area should arrange to welcome Kenny when he arrives next September. He is not really a port expert (Italian wines is his area), but he is a quick learner, and interested. He may also be looking for work in the wine biz when he gets there. I can provide contact info for anyone interested. (He can also introduce you to the Violin Monster.)

The VM is a werewolf that plays a sort of old-timey fiddle in unlikely places. Locally famous (Ann Arbor) but has played in a lot of other cities.
