Iconic Art, a Community Plea

To all madeira lovers,
I'm a big fan of poster art... I love the composition, the colors, the subject matter, particularly those with a wine and spirits theme. Through my online travails, I've found very little around madeira, vintage or new. Let's change that shall we? With the help of the FTLOP community, I'd like to fund a crowdsourced poster competition. If you're unfamiliar with the concept of "crowd sourcing" it's basically a community of artists who work on the same project, but bring their own unique perspectives, all with the goal of winning a cash prize. The larger the prize, the more quality artists get involved, the better the end product. Typically there's one winner, but we can also award a 2nd & 3rd place prize. All submissions would be put to the FTLOP community for a vote. Any contributing members to the competition would get a copy of the poster. Any interest out there?

How much total would you shoot for? What would be a reasonable target/range?
Sounds kinda fun :)

Hi Miguel!~ Not sure, but it looks like $250 would probably do the trick based on the other projects currently being crowd sourced. To be honest, the Rare Wine Co should really fund this project! Madeira has a real marketing challenge. Manny, if you're reading this, DM me, let's chat! [cheers.gif]

$250 should be v achievable.
RWC could fund a matching deal, where they would match whatever we were able to get 2:1 or something like that.
Would keep w the "crowd" side of things but allow it to get more scale, better and bigger artists.
