Been slowly working on this for about 5 days. This was the star standout at a recent wine store Madeira tasting, of the young ones anyways, so I got a bottle to go. I really like the higher acidity and complexity this possesses. Far better than the other 15 year old blends, and a 1994 Malmsey, in the line up. Hazelnuts, a touch of honey in the background, spices, nutmeg, a little VA, and that mentioned acidity. Very well done for a younger single vintage and as I mentioned, a real stand out in the line up.

Looking on WineSearcher I find plenty of this, but apparently all Colheita, at $35-40/500 ml. I hardly think this is what you're writing about, but thought I'd check with you!

It's the same. Just a typo on my part...John Trombley wrote:Looking on WineSearcher I find plenty of this, but apparently all Colheita, at $35-40/500 ml. I hardly think this is what you're writing about, but thought I'd check with you!
