This amazed me, but I did not consult SNOPES to see if this was fake or real. Either way, it is amazing to me. What do you think, real or fake? Beyond that, your comments appreciated too.

no doubt it's real - people have a lot of nerve. The comments section for the article says what needs to be said.

But my question is: does her "invitation" really equal $1,000 in PR? this blogger basically reaches 3,000 people per month. Is that worth $1,000 in advertising, plus the providing the free meals? I think people really over-value social media - especially people in that business (if social media was that profitable, she would not have sent out this request)

p.s. I went to her Instagram page and she takes pictures of herself at the gym - 'nuff said about what the size of her ego is!

On the FOR THE LOVE OF PORT fb page, I am constantly being bombarded by FB to up the quantity of people they will "ALLOW" to see the posts I've made there ... IF ... I am willing to pay to "boost post" in order to reach the people that fb intentionally prevents from seeing the posts in the first place. They do this to all company pages, just so they have some financial leverage (or so they believe) for advertising dollars. What a scam.

Sorry. Rant over!
