NV Broadbent Madeira Malmsey 10 Years Old - Portugal, Madeira (12/20/2013)
Wonderful long finish w coffee, caramel notes. Not sure if due to bottle variation but this last one I opened seems to have a distinctively longer, more complex finish than prior bottles. Only wish it felt fuller in the mouth. (92 pts.)

I am a big fan of this Port, typically rate it in the same zone as you have and think it is one of the great QPR wines to pair well with most cigars.

Great Madeira, unfortunately no longer available here in Edmonton. A complete Madeira wasteland it is here..................

Don't have a ton of Madeira experience, but I buy this one enough that my LWS keeps it in stock mostly for me haha.

Mahmoud, my friend Richard lives in Edmonton and had no issue getting loads of Madeira. What are you doing wrong?

I got one from Costco awhile back and it was a lot as Miguel described his previous experiences. The finish was very clipped, I remember. Too bad, because it was marked down to $26 a bottle towards the end.

At that price I would buy as much as I could get my hands on. Think lowest i have found has been $34/bottle.

Richard may have bought his Madeira some years ago but today, if you look at the best wine store in town, there are only 4 Madeiras available, yes, only four. A '48 Blandy's Bual for $420, a Blandy's Bual for $210, a '00 Henriques & Henriques Bual Single Harvest for $80, and the Blandy's 'Duke of Clarence' for $26. Guess which one I can afford to drink and tell me I'm drinking something other than Tinta Mole. In fact I'm sipping on the 'Duke of Clarence' as I write this, quite the coincidence.

Been surprised by the amount of bottle variation i am getting w this batch i have been going through.

Am going through the next bottle after the one about which i posted the TN below and my current bottle seems to have a scotch-like flavor that I hadnt found before... not one that I find all that great either.

Wish I could have more of the bottle I had 2 bottles ago... and which led me to get a case from the same retailer, in hope I'd get more of the same!
