The Illustrated Douro was published in 1876 by the Viscount of Villa Maior, describing in Portuguese, French and English, the wine district, its principal vineyards and the people and methods involved in the production, storage and trade of Port-wine. The publication included 25 engravings and a map based on the survey of Baron the Forrester.
An accurate reproduction in e-pub format, containing the English text, engravings and map can be downloaded here. I hope you enjoy the reading as much as I did, reproducing this important work.

Ok, sorted it. I had to download an extension on Firefox (my browser) to open it. Just an FYI to others, you may need to do something similar.

There are a lot of reader/displayers out there.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPUB
Google Books will display ePub books. I saved the file, then uploaded to my Google Books/Play account.
https://play.google.com/books/uploads
And now it is there for me to read. This is working fine.
I also tried uploading it to my Google Drive, but that isn't smart enough to load it into the reader, apparently.
