TN: 1988 Blandy's Malmsey Vintage Madeira

Bottled 2013. Just a touch of green noticeable on the otherwise tea colored body. A sweet nose with iodine and roasted nuts. A bit sweet on the palate but filling and plenty of acidity, some VA, molasses, citrus, and chestnuts. A long rich sweet finish with brown sugar that dries out as it fades. I thought this to be a very nice Malmsey, though it seemed a bit on the sweeter side.
