Opinions?

How often do YOU buy Port or other wine at Costco? If you do, what kind do you usually purchase?

I buy wine at Costco all the time. I'd consider them one of my primary regular wine stores. Where else can I get Vietti Castiglione for $35 a bottle? Sandeman 20 year for $38?? Their Kirkland branded wines are great, be it CdP, Boligheri, or 10 year tawny. I will say (contrary to what TFP says) their 10 year tawny blend has changed over the years and to the worse.

I have a costco membership for the sole reason of buying Port. I don't actually go there much - just 2 or 3 trips a year, as it is a bit of a pain to get to, but that might change when they open their 3rd Melbourne store which will be less than 10 minutes drive from my house.
They don't stock much Port - last time I checked, it was just the Kirkland 10 year old, Taylors LBV and the 01 Quinta de Vargellas. I am not a fan of the Kirkland 10yr old, but the Taylors LBV is the least expensive port I can buy in the Australian market and the QdV is the cheapest Vintage port I can buy by some margin.
My next trip in will be when I start to get low on LBV again
I really don't buy much else from Costco, but I don't buy wine from a retail store very often anyway.
