Alex Liddell's new book !!

Just minutes ago I got an e-mail from my friend Alex Liddell . He has a new book out, 16 years after "Madeira" !! I just ordered it from Amazon..
It is not ready for shipping yet, did not get any shipping date... So much looking forward to read it...

Got this correction from Alex about the editions and availability:
"It's the hardback (USA) edition (as announced on the
www.amazon.com site) that is not yet ready for shipping. The paperback (European) edition is already available, and it is on the
www.amazon.co.uk site and can be bought immediately. I dare say that it is also on all other European Amazon sites. It is certainly on the
www.amazon.de site, but I haven't checked the others."

Some of the listings after that ship from Europe, a few have paperback copies already on this side of the pond.

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered this a month or so ago, and Amazon never sent it. Just re-ordered. Hope it will be fulfilled.

Just read the new, updated version of Alex's book. Has always been a favorite of mine, even more now. Worth buying!

Not bad for a man who has turned 80 years old. Wish he would still travel, as he would be a blast to have at our NY events each year, but he is no longer doing that. We've tried!
