My mom had never traveled out of the country. Not even to Mexico which is just a couple hours south of her. That is, until she retired recently and decided she needed to venture to new places. She's now been overseas several times to places like Egypt, Cambodia, etc. Her latest venture was to Vietnam. She had a great time and found a local wine and knowing my love of wine, brought back a 1/2 bottle of a Vietnamese wine. I've not opened yet and truth be told I'm kinda scared to since it says it's made with grapes and fruit. Anyone here had any experience with wines from this region?

I've had "Thai Red Wine" and "Thai White Wine." The red was slightly better. The white was horrifying.
