Dear friends,
I am studying the WSET Diploma. One of my assignments is about "TRADE BODIES FOR
THE PORT, SHERRY & MADEIRA TRADE OVER THE LAST 100 YEARS". Any information, contact or link on the Port trade would be greatly appreciated and very useful for my studies.
Looking forward to hear from you as soon as possible.
Thanks you a lot in advance to everybody who can help me.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This seems to be a routine bit of coursework that is giving students some grief, as there does not seem to be a single reference work that covers the subject in its entirety.
Have a chat with Tom Chadwick - he's on the member list, and has been struggling with this one also.

For Mr Tom or Tom Chadwick. Thanks.

Thank you Mr Tom,
Effectively this is a nightmare and your thought about is right. I'm new in this webside. How could I contact with Tom Chadwick? I really need some help about it.
Thank you so much again.

David,
Is there anything specifically that you are looking to find out about? Could you list some questions here. You are far from the first to broach this topic on the FORUM.
So if you'd provide us with a list of specific questions, it would be much easier to provide cogent answers for you.
Thanks!

Thank you,
Well, firstly my english is not good enough, so I got problems understanding what "trade bodies" in Port wine really means. I though it was Official Bodies like IVDP. But I'm afraid not just that.
My questions:
- What are "Port trade bodies"? Could be organisations like AEVP? If I'm right, I would be greatly thankful if you can let me know more about it, or about other organisations, like for export.
Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it. Study in a foreing language is not easy.
Thanks again.
Looking forward to hear from you.
