Another from The Rare Wine Co.
Bottled 02/2000.
Dark brown colored lightening toward a gold-green rim.
After an initial blast of VA; with some air, developed a rich, complex aroma of almonds, dried flowers, dried apricots, raisins, and caramel. Rich and sweet on the palate with good depth. Very long, sweet, toasted almond finish. Despite its richness, the mouthwatering acidity kept it refreshing. Excellent and my first noteworthy Madeira of the New Year.
