How to make a Barrel

Post by Gizzyeq »

On the Discovery Channel tonight at 9pm(est) they will be showing a new episode of Dirty Jobs (fun show)...yeah yeah its during the state of the union...but remember they might not show this episode again for a while...state of the union will be :beat: all week

lil cut/paste from tv guide
Mike works with a master cooper, also known as a barrel maker, and attempts to master the art of toasting the inside of the barrels over an open flame, a technique that gives the wine a special flavor as it ferments. Also: mule logging

Thanks for the heads up...I love that show. Got to hand it to the guy, there is no way I would do some of the things he has on that show.

Funny show...Don't think they are going to sell that "Heavily toasted" barrel that Mike accidently set on fire
