We are pleased to offer a fabulous collection of rare Madeira.

Madeira is almost ageless, evolving slowly and in need of time to develop its full potential, with styles to suit all tastes:

Sercial Very dry

Verelho Medium-dry

Bual Full-bodied with a dry finish

Malmsey The sweetest of all, luscious

Moscatel Rare - dry’ish

Terrantez Rare

Bastardo Even rarer

Production of Madeira is limited. Remaining stocks of wine produced before 1950 are dwindling as the demand from enthusiastic

consumers increase.

I didn't check the date of the post at first, so I was wondering why I saw such crazy prices. As a point of reference, Brentwood is auctioning off the 1827 Quinta do Serrado Bual and a 1830 Quinta do Serrado Malmsey for roughly 4 times the prices listed in Roy's original post (after auction fees).
