Vesuvio 1997 VP for 45 EUR/58$/30GBP pass or buy?

Or would you make instead a decission for Vesuvio 1994 VP for 63EUR/81$/41 GBP? P l e a s e, do not write, that I would have to take both of them :shock:

The 1994 price is about the cheapest you can find it here in the US. Not sure what prices are around your area. So, I would get the 1994.

AND the 1997 :wink:

The '94 is one of my favorites, but if you can get both the 94 and 97, they are both great.

Michael,

The '94 price you have been offered seems to be about the current price in the UK. Although this is a superb wine, I think that there are other wines that you could get which would be better value - or buy these at auction in the UK where you should expect to pay about £30 per bottle.

The price for the '97s looks pretty good. The '97 is a great wine (although I prefer the '94) and £30 is a good price. If these were my only choices then I would probably buy the '97 and cellar it for many years.

However, the best thing you can do if you want to check the prices is to have a look on Winesearcher.
