For The Love Of Port

Australian scientist have come up with a way to make clothes out of red wine

Wouldn't it just be easier to pick vine leaves and stitch them together rather than using a bacterial film that needs to be shaped to fit the person who will wear the clothes and then needs to be kept wet while the clothes are being worn?

I think some scientists have too much time on their hands and not enough Port to drink!
