Never seen any TN's or even heard of this wine before. Anyone heard about it or tasted it?

Based on his website, it is 50% Touriga Nacional and 50% Touriga Franca with an average vine age of 10 years. However the website is in French, so I am guessing at my further translations....which I think says it is aged in new barrels for 18 months.

Thanks

You are right on the 18 months in barrels aging.

I've never seen it yet neither tasted it. Magrez wines are normally new world fashion with ripe fruit, lots of concentration of flavours and good dose of new oak. I can't say I like what he has done with a few Bordeaux. Probably worth trying one bottle before buying a 2nd one.

Thanks Fred, as you suggested, I'll probably get one this week to try first to see if I like it.

Fred, you are correct but you omit that they are often a little pricey as well !
