Peter and his brother Hans have now incorporated the FTLOP Madeira Forum into their website, thanks to the nifty work of Stewart. I thank all of them for making this idea, a reality!

I'd also like to officially welcome the loyal Madeira lovers from their website to the collaborative Forum (have a look at what their users see: http://www.fortheloveofport.com/mwg/) that now appears on both websites. It may take some time before they are comfortable posting here, but hopefully sooner rather than later they'll find out how friendly this place really is.

I hope these same individuals will register on this site too and obtain access to the FTLOP newsletter that will be focusing on Madeira the next couple of months. In the same regard, I hope the Madeira lovers on this site spend time on Peter's website as well. It is the best single source of pure information about Madeira in the world, bar none.

We are pleased to have you folks join us and look forward to more active participation here in the Forum on the great topic of Madeira!

One more thing.

It would really be great if Peter Reutter would come in here more often to post his own opinions, ask some great questions to start some dialogue and offer his insight into Madeira. By doing so, the real Madeira lovers could have an even greater interactive experience and a chance to hear from one of the world's leading experts on the subject.

I promise I will, and I'm really looking forward to a lot of information exchange. After all there is so little "hard facts" published about Madeira wine that there is still much to learn (and taste of course).
