Three Young Terrantez

I have been comparing three different terrantez.
Broadbent Old Reserve Terrantez: Hint of maple sugar flavor. Simple. Short finish.
1988 D’Oliveira Harvest Terrantez: Green apple and lime flavors. Slightly sweet. Pleasant acidity. Balanced. Medium finish. Nice fragrance when opened. Bottled 2003
1976 Blandy’s Terantez: Taste of fudge and green tea. Medium sweetness, less than the Broadbent or 1954T Leacock. Nice acidity and balance. Medium finish. Dark toward brown in color. Bottled in 1997.
Comparing the three, the Broadbent is the sweetest, the D’Oliveira is the driest. The Blandy’s was the most acidic, but not overly so. All three are sweeter than the 1977T D’Oliveira. In my opinion the Blandy and Broadbent are over-priced, especially compared to D’Oliveira’s. In order, I preferred the Blandy, D'Oliveira, then Broadbent.
