Hi Paul,

Until you include your real name in your profile, I have a feeling that it is going to be very tough for you to obtain responses to your request. Please go back into your profile and insert your real first and last name. Thanks!

Hi Paul,

Good luck with your quest. I'm on the wrong side of the Pond, and to make matters worse, have you sen the Thread Roy started about the Port going on sale in the UK now? It had
1970 10 cases £895:00 98/100
Clearly lives up to Taylor's superb reputation. Deep ruby, with intense violet and chocolate aromas, full-bodied, with gorgeous fruit flavors, full but well-integrated tannins and an extremely long finish. Amazing balance and finesse. Still needs time.98/100 JS
Even if you didn't want the full case, you could have asked for other Members to split the costs. But as I said, wrong side of the Pond, Sorry, and good luck.

Paul,

I'm not sure if you have ever used wine-searcher.com, but that would be a good place to start looking. Plus you have a few major auction houses and retailers with locations in Chicago who might be able to track down some of the port you are looking for.

thanks all for suggestions, I use wine-searcher often however with older wines I prefer to buy them from private parties (if possible).

I'll keep looking-nothing pressing just thought I'd throw it out there.
