Very very nice! I hope you'll fill your spots! And by the way, where is the Duoro?

I imagine if that last spot is not yet filled, it will be shortly! :) Some good, free press!

Actually a foursome (two couples) just backed out late last week. I spent the weekend spackling.

Yikes... not good. Sorry to hear that.

Recent developments have made it all that much more unlikely that I could join you this year, barring an unlikely lottery win. However, I have started hitting the CFO of the house up to see if the possibility of 2008 is there.

I am confident we can fill at least a pair of these spots ... even at this late date.

Todd, no worries, we'll keep the light on for you in 2008!

Phew!

Yes, saved by the bell, thanks to some last minute interest from some folks in CA. We have quite an eclectic group of people from across North America. I can't wait.

Very good news. I can't wait for the fun to begin.

Oh, and I should add that Vinologia is now a no-smoking establishment :D  :thanks:

Wow, that is great news. It was the only thing from making this the "perfect" place to hang out. Due to its size and heavily Euro-centric crowd/visitors the smoking, for me, put a damper on my drinking pleasure. How did you learn of this Andy?

Gustavo told me. I was quite happy to hear the news myself and I am very glad they took the bold step to be smoke-free.

Its a law that came in place on 1st November 2006 if I'm correct. I'm not sure about all the areas impacted by the law but I know all restaurants are now non-smoker. It is indeed a very good news.

Guess i have to start saving for next year's harvest trip then. Although the flight will be much cheaper :P

Edited by Roy Hersh on 8/23 12:15 a.m. due to mention of proprietary pricing of Port trips which is no longer ever mentioned on this site for a variety of reasons. No harm, no foul.
