Opened the day before but not decanted.
Bottled 2011, 300 bottles produced.
Dark amber,bronze color with hint of green at rim.
Smoky, musky with meaty and savory elements on the nose. Umami elements with toffee, caramel, lemons and limes.
Not real sweet for Malvasia, but rich and medium bodied on the palate. Nice balance with good acidity. Meaty on the palate with more muskiness and citrus flavors.
Nice finish. 93 points.
