I would have to drink a lot of port before I would even contemplate doing what that German just did.

Cool stuff. Some of the biggest surf able waves on earth.

that cliff is right at the end of an underwater canyon that is 2km deep. the crowd in the video is standing on the roof of an old fortress overlooking the ocean. the waves can go more than 30m high.
and just on the other side of it (where the city/crowded beach is) there is a german WWII U-boat at about 100m below surface.
it's an impressive place to see :-)
