Yes, Francis Dinkelspiel is the great grand daughter of Isaias Hellman. (There may be another great in there.) She wrote the book after the loss of most of her ancestor's wine. She also wrote "Towers of Gold" about Isaias Hellman. He was a fascinating individual and one of the forgotten founders of modern California.
