For The Love Of Port

After months of doing my best to find a Porto-based blogger of Portuguese descent, that was not only a solid writer, but also Port / Douro wine knowledgeable and able to write well in English, (a difficult checklist) I am very happy with how Fernando Correia's progress has shaped up. Finding someone to fill the large shoes of Cynthia Jenson, was a "next to impossible" task, but so far, I've enjoyed Fernando's perspective. While some of his early posts were not all focused directly on Port-centric topics, the diversity has been very good.

In December, I've set up an exclusive appointment for him to interview one of the living legends of the Port trade, someone who spent over 40 years in the trade. Stay tuned!

Yes, I've been following Fernando's posts. They're nicely written and present a perspective that is new to me. Very fun to read!
