I hate reading articles like this, but like a train wreck, how do you avoid taking a peek? In all seriousness, this is really terrible.

Sadly all types of wine at all different price points are being counterfeited now. Big money in it even at lower price points by upping volume and who's looking too closely at a $20 bottle?

Makes it easier to fake when you start off with a crappy Champagne. Who knows, the consumer may like the fake better in this instance.
