Colheita vs Single Harvest

Is this not the same thing?? I just saw a 2002 Dow Single Harvest Tawny......are the producers confusing the market? Why not just call it a Colheita and if you must, put the definition on the bottle--educate a little, but this feels as if we a are dumbing down. Thoughts?
