Quite a coup by Adrian Bridge who has been busy with many new projects, but this one is now public as he emailed me earlier today:

TFP. Saw it on Facebook earlier. Wonder what they'll do with it?

I assume keep it a hotel, perhaps change the décor to match TFP a little better?

I really like the hotel Infante Sagres - just looking at the photos of the hotel brings back great memories from the FTLOP Harvest Tour 2012... :D

As I understand, TFP has also bought a hotel in Lisbon: Hotel da Estrela.

We Port Wine freaks that travel regularly to Porto and the Douro can confirm that the tourism has increased dramatically over the last years. Seems like TFP is convinced that this is not just a temporary fashion but that Portugal will become more and more a tourist destination - they are getting their ducks nicely in a row ...

Now let's lean back and wait to hear from the Symington-family what their next project will be... Interesting times... :munch:

It is a nice hotel, but the décor is too dark.
