San Leonardo Whites

Post by Eric Ifune »

I met Mr. Miguel Braga in Los Angeles last night. He's in town promoting his wines. Apparently the 60 and 100 are huge hits. I'm glad I got mine when I did. Anyways he let on his next project. He'll be producing White Ports of indicated age. There's already a 10, but he's planning on a 20, 30, and over 40 year old. I asked him if I could post this news and he had no problem. Something else to look forward to!

Very cool! I was bummed to miss the event but a prior engagement and trying to get across town in traffic at the last minute just wouldn't have worked.

Awesome! His 10 is really good, so I can't wait to try the older ones!

Also glad to hear the 60 and 100 are doing well. Lots of fun to be in on the ground floor... Thanks, Roy!

For kicks I just checked winesearcher... No listings for the 100, and only a single listing for the 60 at nearly $500. For a 500ml bottle!

Hopefully there will be a subscribers offer for the whites too ;-)???

And yes, every time I open even the 10y, I'm grateful we got a shot to get them when we did, as they'll probably always be reasonably hard to find. Thanks Roy!

Apparently retail for the 100 will be about $900.
