(Bottled 2015. Special edition bottling of two select casks from 1965)
Musty aromas, with spice, pepper, sweet floral carnation or marigold, then caramel, followed by some Asian dried spice-faint cardamom? In the mouth there is intense concentration and lots of acidity with orange and tangerine. Very nice overall, and picked #1 out of 6 colheitas in a lineup with 1975 Noval, 1976 Krohn, 1980 Rocha, 1968 Krohn, and 1974 Barros Special Carnation Revolution edition.
