What will you serve for Thanksgiving?

Post by Thomas V »

First of all; Happy thanksgiving to everyone on FTLOP, I hope all you Port Brethren will have a great day with indulgence and quality time with family and friends.

So what will you be serving up your guests? Are you going full on with a young VP for the turkey and then a tawny style for dessert?

I will be welcoming my guests with a glass of 2003 Kopke White Colheita, red wine for the main course, for dessert a Ferreira Duque de Braganca 20 YO and then I am contemplating to open a 1980 Gould Campbell VP for afterwards while we are playing some games and just relaxing and watching the Cowboys vs. Redskins.

I think all we have here in KC is a bottle of Ferreira Reserve Tawny, so that's what we'll be having!

S. Leonardo 30 with pecan pie. Good with the pie, even better after that.

Port was an '82 and '85 Kopke Colheitas. For wine we had a Leclerc 2005 Burgundy, 2007 Q. VdM Meandro, and BdB Grand Cru Champagne.
