1991 Graham's Vintage Port

Post by Jasper A. »

On 2nd Christmas day I opened a bottle of the 1991 Graham’s vintage port for another family dinner.
I was surprised when I poured the Port in the decanter, it was quit light coloured. Like it has been aging for a really long time without turning brownish. The sent was still really good and after tasting a zip I knew the Port was still in good shape.

After a 5 hour decant (more the enough) we had the Port with dessert. On the nose I gave me a lot of red fruit, raspberries and strawberries. In the mouth a nice texture and a little complexity with the nice sweetness of the red fruit. The aftertaste was decent.

Maybe an off bottle, I have seen recent tasting reports with good colour descriptions.
Still the Port was nice to drink 90/100
