Decanted 4.5 hrs. Dark purple colour. Typical Douro-aroma of the mix fruit/oak/minerals, although in a subdued way. Full body. Powerful taste which is very fruity with clear elements of oak and minerals, all in a refined way. Well-structured Douro red, where the strength is increasing towards the end (especially the minerals/schist). Long aftertaste. 93 pts.

I'm kinda glad, from a selfish point of view, that this producer flies a bit under the radar except for true Douro-philes. I fear when it hits it big and becomes a name outside the region their stuff will be even harder to come by than it is now.
