1983 Graham's Vintage Port

Part of an eighties themed VP tasting in Aarhus Port Club with 10 VP's which were served semiblind.
Decanted for 6 hours
Somewhat translucent with a slight scent of pine needle and anise. Good acidity with a slight bitterness that was refreshing and balanced out the sweetness. Some grapefruit I believe it was. Not overly sweet and very much has its own style compared to the other bottles tasted on the night. Very interesting and intricate. I enjoyed it more than the one I tasted with my farther in December 2016. This is quite mature but has a little more way to go before it reaches full maturity. Very nice showing.
