Part of an eighties themed VP tasting in Aarhus Port Club with 10 VP's which were served semiblind.

Decanted for 8 hours

Still quite dark in appearance with some alcohol on the front palate. Very delicate and with nice depth of flavour. Some strawberry sensation and a tad of bitterness. I wrote "better version of the RP83" and definitely a redemption for me as my first and previous bottle of G85 was flawed and lifeless. This was an excellent showing and this just kept its form in the glass for the duration of the tasting. A stellar performance and has the right stuff to keep going for 2 more decades. My wine of the night.
