Name change in Madeira

As of today, there is a NEW name for the international airport in Madeira. In Portuguese it sounds best: Aeroporto da Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo.
I could be wrong, but this very well might just be the very first international airport named after a FIFA star!?!?!

I do not think so. Check out: George Best Belfast City Airport.

The airport you mention is a single runway county airport, not an International airport as I had mentioned.
