Maybe the date is in English not French? :stir:

In all seriousness, does it mention how many years after the vintage it is bottled? It makes sense there bottling date like tawny or colheita.

Glad to see that someone else has brought up this topic. I've noticed this trend for sometime now, at least with some of the bottles that are on the shelves here in Canada. Invariably there are posts about the inability of the poster to read what's on the bottle and to be more diligent. I clearly remember once seeing two vintages of Dow LBV on a store shelf, and while the 2004 had a botling date the other, the 2005, had none. Something is afoot with the bottling dates on LBVs but I don't know what.

Mahmoud.

Ooh, an insider Canadian joke, thanks Luc.

PS: For the rest-of-the-worlders, this comes from an old Red Rose tea commercial.
