Decanted 375ml bottle at 6 p.m. first tasting at 7. Aromas of leather, hint of cinnamon, and some dank tree bark. There is a little peach pot pourri in the background. Fairly acidic in the mouth with a warm finish, the dankness is there too. The dankness faded with time. After 9 p.m., some berry flavor showed up, improving the experience. I think the dankness turned into a bit of vegetable on a pizza as it gets cold while sitting out (onion and green pepper).
Overnight this sat in the fridge in a clean 375 ml bottle with a T-stopper, and was allowed to warm up. No dank aromas today, just a little cherry and cinnamon. Warm but pleasant in the mouth. I'm not getting a lot of complexity or distinct flavors, but this is still so much better than yesterday. Yesterday I was trying to decide if I should even score it. Today I'll give it 89 points.
