Decanted for 6 hours and served at 16 degrees Celsuis.
I am doing this from memory as I forgot to take written notes. So bare with me.
Very subtle nose of cherries and ripe plum. The tannins are starting to resolve and it is nearing early stages of maturity. Very elegant and feminine in its expression with violets and still primary fruit. The Vezúvio style. Vinous and lush. This is a well made port that should age well for the next decades and still have plenty of room to improve on an already good impression. I really did enjoy it
Everyone in the room enjoyed this port (14 people) and it was quickly gone.
