TN: 2009 Casa Ferreirinha Quinta da Leda Douro red

Previously posted tasting notes twice for the 2009 Quinta da Leda Dour red; both in 2013 and 2014 I gave it 93 pts. This time 92 pts, so the quality and “performance” have a steady level.
Lunch at Presuntaria Transmontana, Gaia.
The restaurant decanted the bottle 2.5 hrs before we arrived. Dark red colour with a light rim. Aroma of minerals, berries and oak. Full body. Powerful and elegant at start, which is continuing in harmony with the minerals. But there was more acidity in this bottle than previous bottles. Well-structured. Long aftertaste. 92 pts.
