Popped and poured at the end of a BBQ; served slightly chilled. Clear golden red color, moderate weight. Aromas of vanilla and tangerine, but rather muted. Initial sip brings forth vanilla and butterscotch. As it opens up the butterscotch disappears and is replaced by Cointreau (orange liqueur) with hints of vanilla and occasional white cherry. A clean, semi-crisp finish follows. Lovely to sip, for a 15 year tawny it is remarkably complex and well integrated. Impressive.
