2007 Maynard's White Colheita Port

Served semi blind at around 7 Celsius
Straw yellow, golden. Looks like apple juice. Clear
On the nose light spirit, apple, marzipan, honey, candied peel and cane sugar
On the palate good acidity in the front of the tongue. This has a nice balance and freshness to it. Tad of warmth from the alcohol though not unpleasant. Slight spicy with cumin to go along with notes of star fruit, melon. Has a little shed of bitterness on the end which is quite nice. Light body at this point in time. Will improve with more time in the cask but already a pleasant drink.
