TN: 2013 Chryseia Douro red

Decanted 4 hrs. No sediments. Deep purple colour with a light rim. Nicely balanced aroma of fruit, some oak, flowers and minerals. Full body. Quite powerful Douro red, full of berries in a heavy way, then oak and some minerals with a touch of floral notes. This is a well-structured wine and also having a nice acidity/sweetness balance. Long aftertaste. Would think this Chryseia has the potential to develop further. 94 pts.
