Decanted 7 hours. Still no significant color change as it's holding onto it's dark ruby. There is still mostly young plums and red berries, not to mention the relatively high tannins still present. Considering many from this vintage are already onto their secondary stages, this is still a very youthful beast with a good long life ahead of it. I love the semi-sweet texture of this, which is kept in check by a fair amount of acidity. I think I'll stash my remaining 1/2 case away for at least another decade before coming back to it to see how it's evolving.
