(bottled 2014)
Aromas of wood, mahogany, leather … dried cherries cooked in brown sugar; brown sugar cinnamon with melted butter on top. Lots of acid—very refreshing, and some brandy aroma and warmth in the finish. Not as concentrated as the 1937 Noval colheita, but really enjoyable. Has a strong, very long finish. Initially scored 93-94 points, and settled at 94 points.
