From 750 ml bottle. Opened and one glass poured out. So young! Still a beast. Blackberry and chocolate. So suave on entry, but the finish is a bit thin. I still think that there are tannins interfering with the finish. More time in cellar would help. Stored on the kitchen counter with a T-top cork. The next day I took another glass out. Very similar to the previous day. Stored back in my wine cellar. Day 2 - decanted another glass out. WOW! Opened up now. Big blackberry fruit. Huge depth and long finish. Still has some unresolved tannins. Young! A wonderful port! 94 Points

A good example of why this is such a phenomenal value and a damn shame that SFE is doing away with this brand!

Agreed! Buy them when you see them!

I still have quite a bit of it and am not shy about popping these on somewhat short notice. I'd buy another case too, if the provenance was right. It is darn close to the Dow and Graham's at the top of the class in 1980.
