1994 Ramos Pinto Vintage Port

Decanted 8 hours prior, the cork is perfect and the wine is very youthful, dark and dense. Looks more like a recent LBV than a 23 year old Port. Dry aroma, a bit of dark berry and tobacco leaves. Layers of flavor, the first is the tobacco leaf immersed with blackberry, the mouth feel is lush with a velvet, semi-dry finish. Licorice, currant and cocoa detected variously on the finish along with the leaf and dark berries. So easy to drink and so awesome & complex now yet should have a long life ahead. I was blown away.

It's not talked about much, but I like this vintage from them.

Had it a fortnight ago, in a Ramos Pinto vertical. It is very nice youthful, fresh and full of kick. But I don't have it anywhere near as highly rated as you do, with me giving it 90 points. Actually the difference between the regular VP and the Evramoria is not very large at the moment I find it. And you can get the SQ as much lesser price tag.
