The Last Drop bottles some Port

Post by Glenn E. »

The Last Drop normally finds old whisky or cognac to bottle, but for their latest release they've managed to acquire an 1870 (and a 1970) Tawny Port via Cristiano van Zeller.

$5 grand? I'd need more than that to pay the divorce lawyers.

Nice video, but one phrase sent the alarm bells ringing: 'bringing it [a 150 yo wine] up to date in taste terms'

- So how much 1870 juice is actually in the bottle?

Just enough to charge $5k!...lol. I looked for a price and could not find it myself--which alone tells me something.
Any Port in a storm!
