2013 Quinta do Pego LBV port

Stating unfiltered, but there were no sediments. Decanted 4.5 hrs. Dark purple colour. Distinct and fresh aroma of berries, however in the background there is a significant portion of oak. Medium body. Fruity and good balance acidity/sweetness. Nice combination of smoothness and power towards the end. Tannins too dry and too much. Over ripe cherries. Short aftertaste. 86 pts.
